1) The cat in panel one has pushed over a fishbowl. The cat in panel two has broken a priceless Han dynasty urn.
2) The man in panel one is wearing white shoes and a white bowling shirt because they're totally vintage, which goes with his image of himself as a guy who likes drinking coffee out of oversized cups and using irony and bands you've probably never heard of. The man in panel two is wearing white shoes and a white bowling shirt because he doesn't realize it's after Labor Day.
3) The onomatopoeia in panel one is twice as loud as the onomatopoeia in panel two.
4) The fish in panel one used a spring with a spring constant of 1800 N/m to launch itself into the aquarium. The fish in panel two used cartoon physics.
5) The dog in panel one is OCD and is busily counting the cup handles, water droplets, bubbles, cat whiskers, fishbowl shards and fish fins that comprise his world. The dog in panel two is thinking about lunch.
6) In panel two, the cat will go about the rest of his day making fighting sound effects. Biff! Zap! Pow! Blooey! Zablunkwapowiggy!
