In the first drawing, the moon is much too close to the earth and the guard dog is about to have an intense lunar-related seizure. The one burglar jammed the other burglar in the dog's mouth to keep him from swallowing his tongue. The American Veterinary Medical Association does not endorse this action. The recommend pet owners keep a ready supply of Phenobarbital and potassium bromide for seizure prone dogs.
